Burlington: Meets on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at The Sirloin Saloon at 2545 Shelburne Road (Route 7) in South Burlington. Meetings begin with a social hour at 5:30 p.m. for networking. Dinner and the business meeting follow at 6:30 p.m. To attend a meeting, you must RSVP by the Friday before. Contact Barb Kaufmann at 802-425-2358. The cost is $19 for dinner. In 1949, eleven professional women formed the Burlington BPW Chapter. Burlington BPW exists for many reasons: passage of legislative issues for women, scholarships to women in financial need, recognition of the career achievements of young women, and involvement in the community.

Mid State: Midstate BPW meets the third Tuesday of the Month. We meet at the Black Door at 44 Main Street in Montpelier. You can park on Main Street or behind the Black Door. Parking is free after 5 p.m. Dinner Cost is $14 per person. When coming from State Street, turn right onto Main St. It is half way between State Street and Shaw's on the Right. St. Johnsbury: The St. Johnsbury Chapter is the oldest in Vermont having just celebrated its 80th birthday in January 2002. Meetings are the third Thursday of the month, September to June, from 5:30 to about 8 pm. A Young Careerist and a Scholarship program are sponsored every year. Monthly programs address issues that concern working wormen.
